Children's Yoga
Mary J. Kanz, COTA/L, is a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with specialized training in children’s Mental and Behavioral Health through Roots of Resilience: Children’s Yoga Teacher Training for Pediatric Occupational Therapists by Yogaphamily. She is also a Certified Wisdom Coach® for children through Adventures in Wisdom™, supporting kids in developing confidence, resilience, and a strong mindset.
Mary’s children’s yoga classes blend therapeutic insight with playful movement and mindfulness. Her inclusive sessions help children of all abilities build confidence, learn calming strategies, and improve balance, strength, focus, and attention. Through kindness-centered activities and growth-mindset themes, Mary creates a nurturing environment where kids learn, connect, and thrive!

Little Lambs Ages 2-5 years
Duration: 30 minutes
A gentle, simple, sensory-friendly yoga class for younger children of all abilities. Each class includes playful yoga poses, easy breathing activities, and sweet seasonal stories to keep little ones engaged. Classes end with a peaceful relaxation portion. Parents are present and encouraged to participate.

Brave & Mighty Me! Yoga Ages 6-9years
Duration: 1 hr
Classes build confidence, strength, and emotional regulation through fun, playful poses. Kids of all abilities learn simple mindfulness tools and engage in crafts to help them stay calm and focused. Each class finishes with a cozy relaxation to leave them feeling centered and peaceful.

Strong Minds & Bodies Yoga Ages 10-12 years
Duration: 1 hr
A lively, imaginative yoga class that helps kids of all abilities build strength, balance, and body awareness through fun flows, creative challenges, and partner play. We introduce simple breathing tools and mini-meditations to help them focus, calm their minds, and understand their emotions. Kids learn the basics of yoga philosophy—kindness, courage, and curiosity—in a way that feels like a game, not a lesson.
